Welcome to my blog. This is my very first post. The plan is to mainly write about the coding and making projects I do with my two boys, to post some tutorials and also review some of the fantastic things out there available in the coding and making space.
When my son came home from school asking about coding I was comfortable enough to start helping him explore the topic. For me it was an easy one, I've been coding for a living for over 20 years. I started looking at what was available for kids to learn about coding, there's lots out there, some you have to pay for but there are enough free resources and tools out there so there is no need to spend any money.
I've had great fun not only helping my sons to code but also having a go with the tools myself. As I said this is all quite familiar to me so I thought setting up a blog to share some of my knowledge to hopefully explain what's around and point parents, carers, children and anyone interested in the right direction, anyone can have fun learning to code and I want to show you how.
This is only the start so please do come back as I'll be adding stuff as often as I can.
